, Lark Books, 2002. Making Ceramic Sculpture, Lark Books, 2000, and The Ceramic Design Book. Lark Books,1999.
Along with Kathi's main interest, ceramic sculpture, the artist creates functional and non-functional vessels and has made a line of Pendent Lamps for LightMakers designers in Buffalo.
Kathi has also branched out into the art of jewelry design, creating handcrafted, one of kind pieces out of silver, and precious
silver. Her jewelry is an extension of her sculptural work with its emphasis on organic forms. Precious stones, pearls, prints and found objects are often incorporated in her designs.
Kathi lives and works in Buffalo, NY, along with her husband, painter Peter Fowler, who operates the newly opened Kepa3 Gallery.
The spacious, light filled gallery provides the backdrop for paintings and sculpture -- Kathi and Peter's own work, and in addition
features some of Buffalo's most talented contemporary artists with a variety of rotating shows. You can visit the gallery on 31 Barker St., Buffalo, NY, or email them at
